We are an independent Baptist Church in the Adamsville/Zanesville, Ohio area.
We hope to see you soon.
Washington Township Baptist Church is a local assembly of believers in Jesus Christ, standing on the Word of God, and promoting the wonderful truth of the doctrines of grace through Jesus Christ alone. We are committed to the verse-by-verse preaching and teaching of the Word of God. We have been called by the Lord to serve the spiritual needs of our community by pointing them to trust in Christ alone. We offer hope and help for those who desire to know how God’s Word can transform their life.
For over 178 years God has helped our fellowship love and worship Jesus, as well as care for one another in practical ways. You are warmly invited to visit with us. You will find our gatherings Christ-focused and our people welcoming. Our worship service is Christ-exalting in a God-centered atmosphere, with an emphasis on reverence. Preaching is the central element of the service. Our music is traditional and conservative hymn singing. For continuity, we use the KJV as our main preaching and teaching text of choice.
